Compliance

Trying to keep up and comply with state and federal employee benefit regulations can be challenging, or even overwhelming. The rules’ complexities–and the risks and consequences of noncompliance–grow ever larger. Our staff provides valuable, prompt and practical compliance assistance to its clients through direct contact with our compliance staff, email alerts, seminars and more.  We have on-staff compliance consultants who stay atop new compliance laws and regulations and endeavor to understand not just the rules, but how they will affect our clients on a practical level. Our client teams–including our compliance services professionals–work with our clients to keep them apprised of the rules that affect them, and to efficiently and pragmatically resolve their compliance issues.

Health compliance legislation like ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, USERRA and the Medicare Modernization Act has heightened the anxiety level of many HR departments. Already asked to do more with fewer resources, HR departments must now ensure the separation of health plan and employment information, ensure the privacy of that information, comply with more than a dozen notice obligations (requiring notice to different persons, at different times, in different ways) and more. Our team will analyze your compliance situation and provide solutions and suggestions tailored to help you ensure proper compliance with applicable requirements.
